INAB Survey - Have Your Say on the Future of Accreditation
INAB is launching a national survey in September 2025 to gather views on the value and future direction of accreditation in Ireland.
The survey is open to:
Accredited conformity assessment bodies (CABs),
Their clients and stakeholders,
Regulators, policymakers, and specifiers of accreditation, and
Organisations not currently accredited but that may need accreditation services in the future.
Purpose of the survey:
To quantify the economic benefits of accreditation in Ireland, demonstrating its role in trade, competitiveness, regulatory compliance, and consumer confidence.
To explore the feasibility of new accreditation areas such as environmental standards, ESG, and digital technologies.
Confidentiality assurance: All responses will be treated in strict confidence and in line with GDPR requirements. This is your chance to provide open, honest feedback without concern, helping to shape both current evidence and INAB’s future strategy. The survey is being administered independently. INAB will not have access to individual responses or to the underlying analysis, and no respondent will be identifiable in the findings
A link to the survey will be published here in September.
